The Toronto Trump International Tower has been at its peak in popular, though not all for good reason, since the US presidency of Donald Trump. As Trump’s first branded hotel in Canada, the stakes were high to impress the citizens. However, the contracts for the 65-story tower might be surrendered to one of the other five-star brands of luxury hotels waiting to take claim in this great city. Marriott is the lead candidate to take over the brand and management contracts following is the Waldorf Astoria, and Mandarin Oriental International LTD. Although no final agreement is in place, the one thing that seems evident is that the chain that takes over will be of the five-star caliber and join the luxury brands of hotels including Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts and Four Seasons.
