One of Toronto’s most distinguished addresses is poised to open two new signature dining venues.
Since opening in 1929, the Royal York Hotel has recently gone through a massive multi-year renovation. The first of the renovations completed, began with the unveiling of the luxurious Fairmont Gold private lounge on the 18th floor, dubbed the “hotel within a hotel” with its own separate lobby, lounge, library and dining area.
The last of the renovations, CLOCKWORK Champagne & Cocktails, and signature restaurant, bar and bakery, REIGN will open on June 11th aligned with the hotel’s 90th anniversary.
“Fairmont Royal York has always been home to notable culinary and cocktail offerings throughout our long history. We are excited to introduce two new food and beverage venues which usher in a new era of dining at our hotel, while remaining true to our esteemed past,” said Edwin Frizzel, Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Fairmont Royal York, in a release.
CLOCKWORK Champagne & Cocktails will reveal the luxurious transformation of the lobby lounge featuring a new centrepiece, a classic clock tower. The exclusive lounge setting will be offering a wide array of international wines, specifically crafted cocktails and mouthwatering bites.
REIGN is set to elevate the dining experience offering three unique culinary experiences with a restaurant, bar and bakery. It will offer Canadian-inspired brasserie with a modern take on French traditional cuisines, as well as focus on sustainability with a farm-to-table dining experience.
The renovations and modernization usher in a new wave of elevated hotel experience in Toronto.
